Mantra

Accept what you cannot change, change what you cannot accept.

What kind of music can we expect to hear in your class?

It’s constantly evolving but some EDM/tropical house beats, with some softer, moodier tracks mixed with some golden Indie remixes. Music that moves your soul and your body.

What does living a balanced life through fitness look like & mean to you?

For me, exercise is my daily medicine. It’s intentional time I take to stay connected to my body, to disconnect from unnecessary and unhelpful mind activity, and to feed my soul with an activity I enjoy doing. When I am in a class and faced with challenges, I have to learn how to move through them. It’s the time I prepare myself to handle the other bigger life challenges. When I commit myself to my fitness, and consistently prove to myself what I am capable of - that I can overcome difficult things, and that I am much stronger than I give myself credit for - this is carried through into every aspect of my life. Never mind the physical and mental benefits you naturally receive from physical activity, it’s what it represents. It gives me time to rewire negative thought patterns and beliefs that are normally taking up space in my mind, because I intentionally disconnect from them and prove them wrong. Exercise is my practice.

What kind of vibe do you create during your class?

I want to create a vibe where everyone is comfortable to show up, put some work in and leave feeling accomplished. My classes are going to be quick, but attainable. Each rider is at a different point in their fitness journey, and I want to help progress each one to their next step. Let’s show up for the grind, have a few laughs along the way; and most importantly, not take ourselves too seriously.
